The Stronghold® Safety Steel Ejection Curtain Kits are fabricated from steel mesh, originally intended to protect people in the vicinity of a bomb blast. The kits include a multi-width curtain rod to fit a wide range of machine sizes:  fits press frame widths of 24" to 64" and press frame heights of 58" to 69". 

Perfect for hydraulic press guarding where easy access is desired and safety can't be compromised.  To select the correct curtain kit for your press, measure the width of the press frame (A) and the height of the press frame (B). 

An object that ejects from a hydraulic press can become a deadly projectile and cause serious injury. The Stronghold® Ejection Curtains will help stop dangerous flying debris and allow it to fall safely to the ground.

Installing a steel mesh ejection curtain allows easy access to machines while providing a lower cost method of meeting hydraulic press guarding standards. Because the mesh is black, the operator's eyes can easily focus on the point of operation. The curtains are lightweight, easy to install, maintenance free and allow natural light visibility.

• Press Frame Width (A) - at top of press - The curtain rod fits press widths of 24" up to 64".
• Press Height (B) - from press top to the floor - Kits are available with curtain heights (with hooks) of 57"
• Steel mesh curtain is 100% Fireproof , doesn't absorb oil, grease or other flammable liquids, and can be easily cleaned.
• Superior break-through strength and corrosion resistance.
• The mesh is painted black to allow the operator's eyes to focus more easily on the point of operation. 
• Exceeded the ISC/GSA Performance Condition 3b criteria for acceptable levels of protection from glass fragment hazards during an explosion. (GSA-TS01-2003).
• Met the tougher Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-010-01 standard.
• SS 1/4-19 mesh passed up to the following blast test conditions: Average peak pressure 6.2 psi, Average Maximum Impulse 41 psi-ms, Duration 16ms.
• Kit includes: 1/4-19 steel mesh curtain galvanized and painted black, curtain hooks and a curtain rod with mounting brackets.
• Custom sized curtain heights are available.
