Newall Scales are well known for being the most durable digital readout scales on the market, but they are also the easiest scales to install. Instead of having to indicate the whole length of the scale like traditional glass scale systems, Newall linear encoders only require the reader head itself to be indicated. They don't require a backer bar or a machined surface either, which means they're perfect for long-travel applications. Below you will find a brief overview of the installation process. If you would like more detailed instructions, download the full installation guides here.
