• The encoders, along with the incoming power supply, are connected to the DSU. A DSU-to-DP1200 Interconnect cable selected above is then connected from the DSU to the DP1200. Since the DSU can be mounted anywhere on the machine it reduces the need for extension cables and simplifies cable routing.

• Encoder connections can only be made at the DP1200 DSU when in use, not at the DP1200 display.

• Turn off the power by disconnecting the power supply connector, before you connect or disconnect the encoder(s)
